The Photography of Andre Kertesz

Andre Kertesz (1894 - 1985), the great American photographer, was born in Hungary, moved to Paris first, then settled in the U. S. in 1936. His photos were first published when he was in the Austro-Hungarian army in the first World War. We are forever grateful for his works which bring us back to a forgotten era. The soundtrack in this video is a short clip from Tchaikovsky's piano concerto #1.
